Our Rav

Rabbi Moshe Scheinberg, the Morah D'Asra of Agudas Yisrael of West Rogers Park (AYWRP), is a musmach of Beth Medrash Govoha, a respected Talmid Chochom and dynamic speaker. In his effort to lead AYWRP’s mispallelim to realize their full potential, Rabbi Scheinberg seeks to connect to all on a personal and spiritual level while also learning one-on-one with Baal HaBatim and delivering weekly shiurim on a variety of topics.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, as the son of the community Rav, Rabbi Scheinberg knows first hand what it means to balance the needs of every member of the kehillah. Rabbi Scheinberg went on to learn at the Mir Yeshiva in Eretz Yisrael before moving to Lakewood, NJ, where he learned in Beth Medrash Govoha for 18 years.

Rabbi Scheinberg and his wife Elisheva partner together in leading the shul in many ways, including the development of women’s programming throughout the year.
